The old way was two forms. You approved a price, then later somebody handed you a second page authorizing work you had never been shown. We stopped doing that.
Now it is one page. Every part, every hour, the rate we are charging and the total, with a plain block above the signature line telling you what you are agreeing to. Sign it and the work is authorized at that figure.
The moment you sign, the lines freeze. Nobody can quietly add to an approved job. If the car needs something we did not know about, that is a new quote and a new yes from you.
The signed copy lives on your job page for as long as you want it. If you ever need to prove what you agreed to, it is right there with the date on it.
